Frequently asked questions
Find answers about connecting Amazon Ads, building workflows, reviewing changes, and getting more from your Invisell workspace.
Getting Started
How do I connect my Amazon Ads account?
Go to Settings → Connections and click Connect. You'll be redirected to Amazon to authorize access. Once connected, Invisell will begin importing your advertising data.
How long does the first data sync take?
The initial sync may take 48 hours because Invisell needs to import historical campaign, targeting, search term, and performance data.
You can start using the platform once the required data becomes available.
Workflows
What is a workflow?
A workflow lets you define when something should happen and what Invisell should do.
For example:
You can combine multiple conditions to create your own advertising rules.
Can I create a workflow using a prompt?
Yes. Describe what you want to do in plain language and Invisell can generate the workflow for you.
Example:
You can review and edit the generated workflow before using it.
What can I use as workflow conditions?
Invisell lets you build conditions using a wide range of advertising, product, inventory, and account-level data. Conditions can also be combined with AND / OR logic to create highly specific workflows.
You can use metrics such as:
- Performance: ACOS, ROAS, spend, sales, orders, clicks, impressions, CTR, CVR, CPC
- Time-based performance: 1d, 3d, 7d, 14d, 30d, 60d, previous week, previous 30 days, and other available lookback periods
- Bids & budgets: current bid, historical bid, campaign budget, budget usage %, bid adjustments
- Campaign data: campaign name, type, status, state, start date, creation date
- Keywords & targeting: keyword text, match type, keyword performance, target type, product targets, ASIN targets
- Placements: Top of Search, Rest of Search, Product Pages, placement performance, and placement adjustments
- Product & inventory: ASIN, SKU, available quantity, Days of Cover, in-stock %, daily units sold
- Product organization: Product Groups, Labels, custom classifications, and product attributes
- Account-level metrics: Account TACOS and other account-wide performance signals
- AI insights: AI Suggested Bid, AI Rank, and other available AI-generated signals
You can combine these fields to build workflows that match your exact strategy.
For example:
You are not limited to predefined optimization strategies — you decide which data matters, how conditions are combined, and what action should happen when those conditions are met.
Can I use more than one condition?
Yes. You can combine multiple conditions using AND / OR logic.
For example:
Will a workflow immediately change my Amazon account?
Not necessarily.
You can review the actions generated by a workflow before they are pushed to Amazon. When an action is ready to be sent, Invisell will clearly show the changes before you use Push to Amazon.
Can I undo a workflow change?
You can review previous values and workflow actions inside Invisell.
For workflows that temporarily change a value, such as reducing bids because inventory is low, we recommend creating a corresponding recovery condition that restores the value when the original condition is no longer true.
Bids
How do Suggested Bids work?
Invisell analyzes available advertising performance data and provides a suggested bid for supported targets.
Suggested Bid is a recommendation. It does not automatically change your Amazon bid unless you apply it or use it within a workflow.
Can I create my own bid strategy?
Yes. You are not limited to Invisell's Suggested Bid.
You can create custom bidding logic using workflows and define exactly how bids should change under different conditions.
Example:
Can I set a minimum or maximum bid?
Yes. When building bid workflows, you can use limits to prevent bids from moving outside the range you are comfortable with.
Product Groups
What are Product Groups?
Product Groups let you organize ASINs into groups that can be analyzed and managed together.
For example:
- Best Sellers
- New Launches
- High Margin
- Low Inventory
- Seasonal Products
Can I use Product Groups in workflows?
Yes.
You can create workflows that only apply to specific Product Groups.
For example:
Can one product belong to multiple groups?
Yes. A product can be included in multiple groups depending on how you want to organize and analyze your catalog.
Data & Metrics
Why is today's data different from Amazon Ads?
Amazon advertising data is not always finalized immediately.
Recent metrics may change as Amazon processes attribution, sales, and reporting data.
For this reason, today's numbers and recent historical numbers may update over time.
Why are sales or orders showing up later?
Amazon uses attribution windows, which means an order can be attributed to an ad click after the click occurred.
Because of this, metrics such as Sales, Orders, ACOS, and ROAS can change after the original advertising activity.
What does "1d", "7d", or "30d" mean?
These indicate the period used to calculate the metric.
For example:
Can I customize the columns I see?
Yes. Invisell provides many advertising, product, inventory, and calculated metrics. You can choose the columns that are most relevant to your analysis.
Inventory
Can Invisell use inventory data to control advertising?
Yes.
Inventory data can be used as a workflow condition.
For example:
This allows you to reduce advertising pressure when inventory is limited.
Campaigns
Can I create bulk campaigns inside Invisell?
Yes. Invisell can help generate campaign structures based on your selected products, targets, keywords, and settings.
You can review the campaign before sending it to Amazon.
Can I edit a generated campaign before pushing it?
Yes. You should review the campaign structure, bids, budgets, targeting, and other settings before pushing it to Amazon.
Workflow Safety
How can I make sure a workflow does not make too many changes?
Use additional conditions and limits.
For example, instead of:
you can use:
This helps prevent decisions based on insufficient data.
Can I preview which targets a workflow will affect?
Yes. Before applying significant changes, you can review the entities that match your workflow conditions and inspect the proposed actions.
Troubleshooting
Why don't I see a campaign or target I recently created on Amazon?
New Amazon Ads data may not appear immediately. Invisell needs to receive and process the updated data from Amazon before it becomes available in the platform.
Why didn't my workflow match anything?
Check:
- The selected account
- Workflow conditions
- Date range
- Entity type
- Product Group or Label filters
- Whether enough data exists for the selected metric
Why wasn't my change pushed to Amazon?
Check whether the action is still waiting for review, whether your Amazon account is connected, and whether the selected campaign or target is currently eligible for that action.
Where can I see changes made by Invisell?
Use the activity or workflow history to review actions generated by workflows and changes pushed to your connected advertising account.
